Refund Policy

Company: Brainstormer Innovations Inc., a Delaware corporation and owner/operator of MediaScriber.ai, a product of Brainstormer Innovations Inc.

1. Overview

MediaScriber.ai, a product of Brainstormer Innovations Inc. provides AI-powered transcription, speaker diarization, and media processing services on a subscription and/or usage-based basis.

Because our services incur immediate compute and infrastructure costs once processing begins, refunds are limited and governed by this policy.

2. Subscription Refunds

Monthly Plans

Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has started.

You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will prevent renewal for the next billing cycle.

No partial refunds or prorated credits will be issued for unused time, unused transcription credits, or partial months.

Annual Plans

Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a refund only if:

  • A written request is made within 7 days of the initial purchase; and
  • Less than 10% of the included usage quota has been consumed.

If these conditions are met, refunds may be issued after deducting:

  • Payment gateway charges;
  • Taxes;
  • Usage-based infrastructure and AI processing costs already incurred.

3. Usage-Based Services

Charges for processed audio, video, transcription, diarization, translation, summarization, or related AI services are non-refundable once processing has begun.

This applies even if:

  • The uploaded media contains poor audio quality;
  • The transcription accuracy is affected by accents, overlapping speech, noise, or corrupted recordings;
  • The user is dissatisfied with generated outputs.

4. Failed Processing

If a transcription or media processing request fails due to a platform-side technical issue and no usable output is generated, MediaScriber.ai, a product of Brainstormer Innovations Inc. may, at its discretion:

  • Reprocess the file at no additional charge; or
  • Provide platform credits equivalent to the failed processing attempt.

Refunds in cash are generally not issued for isolated technical failures.

5. Chargebacks

Users agree to contact MediaScriber.ai, a product of Brainstormer Innovations Inc. support before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of accounts;
  • Termination of access;
  • Recovery actions for unpaid amounts.

6. Free Trials and Promotional Credits

Free trials, promotional credits, beta access, or complimentary usage have no cash value and are not refundable or transferable.

7. Enterprise Agreements

Refunds and commercial terms for enterprise or custom agreements will be governed by the executed contract between the parties.
